    The Toy Replacements

Yes, in the general sense, they are toys made for the more mature people who are still kids at heart with an active imagination.

    Do you believe in success?

Yeah, when you've achieved a goal for every day, no matter how small like this thread, it is a success. As long as you put your mind into something and accomplish the task, that is a win for me.

Which figurine is the most expencive you've got?

I have a personal limit of 25 dollars on the figurines that I buy. Even if I love the character I'll skip on it if it's more than 25 dollars. It's a way to prevent me from spending too much on the stuff, because if I go over my limit just one time, I'll just be tempted to buy more expensive ones...

Looking for a good horror movie? Watch "The Exorcist"

Watch both films of The Conjuring as well. I like it when my horror movies have a good plot and doesn't rely on just jump scares.

    How is your life going?

Currently on leave from grad school due to family and personal problems last year. So far I'll say I have recovered and hopefully I'll be back by next school year.

    Hikari series: Dangerous Spiderman

Only saw this now and I'll say the body is too muscular for the figurine, making it weird looking.

How did you start collecting Vynils?

Fellow Whovian here, I wasn't really keen on collecting Pops at the time since it was difficult to obtain back then here in the country. But when I went to uni a store opened in the mall across from where I was staying, and one time I saw David Tennant's Pop so I bought it. I've been collecting...

    Happy first day of summer!

I personally dread summer because that season is so hot in a tropical country where I live. December-February is the best here in my country imo. Still, vacation is a good thing, so not complaining! I just stay home during the heat.

2018 Emerald City Comic Con Reveals: TV - Game of Thrones, Stranger Things & Doctor Who!

Doctor Who fan here, Barb's photo was repeated in Amy Pond's haha. They finally have an official one for Amy, it's been so long since her last episode haha

Is the Batman vs Superman wobblers series a little disturbingly realistic?

I prefer the cute versions for figurines tbh. I only want the realistic toys when they are proportional in size (like regular toy size). The toys in the first picture of this thread have sizes too big for my liking.

Do you like the Rick and Morty collection?

I like the show but I'm not too obsessed with it so I'll pass. If I were to get one, I prefer a better version of this character (I don't like the design on this):

    Your dream travel destination?

If the cost of living wasn't too high, I'd love to go and spend a week in Switzerland. New Zealand is also high on the list of places I want to go to. I just feel that those countries would be a breath of fresh air in terms of travel destinations which are not too mainstream.

I stopped collecting figurines when I started working

Right now I only buy 1 or 2 per year for the ones I really like, so it's kinda difficult to resist the urge to buy more when I've reached the limit for the year lol, but it helps to have some savings for other necessities and not just spend them all. The smaller collection makes it easier for me...

What toys did you like as a child?

Don't know if you've heard of the anime, but Monster Rancher toys were my "toy soldiers" when I was young. Funny story, they were supposed to be given as a gift to my cousins but I hid them so they would be mine lol. They look like this (not my photo, they're currently in my childhood home so I...

Pillow or No Pillow for Sleeping?

I can't sleep too flat on the bed, I prefer to have something under my head to elevate it a bit. One fluffy pillow is enough for me. I also sleep more comfortable with a hotdog pillow on the side lol.

What movie, book, TV show or other characters are you hoping for?

Always on the lookout for Marvel and Doctor Who ones. Not necessarily hoping but I'm also a fan of obscure little shows with a cult following but I doubt they'll get their own figurines since the demand would be low.

    OOB or in box collecting

I'm also an in-box collector to better preserve the collections I guess without the added effort. I only bring them out once or when other people want to see them.

How many Funko Pops do you have at this time?

Wow, that is a huge collection! if only I have the money lol. I currently have 20, mostly Marvel and Doctor Who ones.
