What toys did you like as a child?

When I was a kid I liked to create towns. In a way, it's sort of like the SIMS thing they have now, but back in those days, the 1980s, computers and video games were primitive. Anyway, as you might expect, the toys were toy buildings and little vehicles to go with them.

My favorite toys when I was a kid were those little rubber soldiers. I can play with them all day shooting up everything in sight with my mouth gun sound as possible enemy combatants. I also love battery powered toy cars and helicopter. My stubbornness had me flew my helicopter off our 3 story building and it crashed into pieces. Now as I recall that past event, what is running through my mind is mayday mayday, black hawk is going down, we are going down and boom (LOL ).

As a kid, I liked dolls and would always pair them with robots to act as their boyfriends. I enjoyed playing with my sister because she qlso have so many dolls. We also enjoyed playing rubber band and I think almost all the toys matched me and loved them all.

Don't know if you've heard of the anime, but Monster Rancher toys were my "toy soldiers" when I was young. Funny story, they were supposed to be given as a gift to my cousins but I hid them so they would be mine lol. Even in the present day, I love web development. In other words, anything that involves creativity. Anyway, when I was a kid I wanted to be an architect. Did anyone else desire something similar?

As a kid, I was a collector of barbie dolls and robots and stuff toys of course! When I was in middle school, I started collecting cars and such. Now that I am in secondary high school, I am collecting anime and cartoon characters figurines. It became a routine. It became my happiness. I made it a hobby to buy at least five figurines a month and now, I almost have 5 big boxes of figurine and stuffed toys. There's just a sense of security in them that I can not explain. I love my collections and I would never trade them for anything in the whole wide world.

As a kid back in the 80s, my favorite toy would be the plushy of Alf and the Marshmallow man from The Real Ghostbusters. And then there's the classic Barbie. My grandmother would sew dresses for Barbie and my collections of them are priceless. Her clothes are unique and my creations mostly and my grandmother would create them. Such a good memory to relive. And lastly, there's this one doll about the size of a 2 year old kid and I remembered my clothes back then could fit her. Since I'm the youngest, I used to pretend she's my youngest sister and I would take care of her too. These are my favorite toys back in the days.

As a kid, I enjoyed collecting stuff toys and barbie. I love stuff toys because they are very fluffy and I also collect barbies because most of my friends play them and I want to be able to join them when they do that is why I ask may parents to buy me some barbie dolls.

A good question indeed but when I was a child, my greatest toy was a game console. So from the start I was a real gamer. I like playing alone rather than playing with toys. My first ever game console is a Sega Genesis.

I would like to share my enthusiasm back then in collecting these Tomica toys. The models are based on actual ergonomics of famous brand names of vehicles before. These toys have become in demand in late 90's and early 2000.
I used to have at most ten of hundreds of collectible vehicle models including the ones shown below, a volkswagen, a truck and a bus which is my favorite and obviously most played.
You can actually open the doors of these models and let their wheels rotate.
Me posting this is actually making me nostalgic. Those were one of my happiest days when I was a kid.

Below is a picture of other types of vehicles that you can choose aside from cars above. I have not seen much of these today in toy stores since most of them are already more of electronic types.

I also used to have this Hot Wheels car. You need put this car on a black charger to let it run at high speed by itself. It can run a course of about 20-40 meters I think.

When I was a child there was not available too many toys models. I remember how I was playing with lead soldiers, these were my favorite toys besides the plastic toy cars. When I was small my country was a communist one and we were limited in many ways besides to have toys, PC., and different games.

When I was a child, I love playing with puzzle games. One of them is paper puzzle. I love to play this game because I enjoy it and I share it to my friends. I like to solve puzzles and make my own.

I also love that when I was a child. Me and my friends always play puzzle games in our free time. How I love playing those. I miss it!

I have like a couple of Ferrari and Beetle mini cars which are gifted by mom. And because I am a girl, was a girl, of course, I also have dolls. I have like 8 or more Barbie dolls and one barbie house. My favorite toy was the cooking set one. I used to play them with my neighbors every week.

I used to collect and play with a lot of G.I.Joe action figures and Transformer robots when I was a kid. I remember buying them near my school. A G.I Joe action figure costs around $1.20 back then.

When I was a kid I am a huge fan of GI Joe and I am also a avid collector of Matchbox and Hot Wheels. Back then, I have a vast collection of GI Joe action figures, Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I always keep myself updated for every new item that is available out in the market and buy those new products to add into my collection. But as time pass by my interest in collecting GI Joe, Matchbox and Hot Wheels has change and because of that I actually sold every collection that I have and used the money to buy RC which is my new interest.

When i was a kid a have variety of toys from action figures, cars, planes and even play tools. I just use them by mood...for me a day with all the tools around me back then is a must. This will keep me busy all day long..although i have problems cleaning it afterwards...yup kids!

My toy car for me. I love my toy car, and also my collection of my matchbox. I used to play that with my friends every after school. I can't forget my lego also, one of my favorite toys also, actually until now I still have that lego, but my matchbox cars, I don't know where are they now.

When I was a kid, I used to love playing with radio-controlled cars. I used to tell my dad whenever he went abroad for work, to bring me a radio-controlled toy car. And when it was time for him to come home, I was very excited. He would always have the packaged toy car in his hand, and when I saw it, I would run towards him happily. I still remember those moments as vividly as possible.

When I was a kid I really like remote controlled cars and helicopters. One time my aunt bought me my very first remote controlled helicopter, The whole afternoon of that day I spent playing with helicopter. Together with my cousins because my aunt also bought them one.
